Pick Your Favorite Krups Coffee Grinder

The Krups coffee grinder range features a selection of models designed to help you get the best from your favorite java ...

Established in Germany in the mid nineteenth century, Krups has long been known as a manufacturer of kitchen scales equipment. In the 1950s the company branched out into the production of coffee grinders, and has subsequently become known as a leader in the market for household appliances.

Equipment For The Coffee Connoisseur

As well as grinders, Krups makes other equipment for the coffee aficionado, including a selection of coffee machines and espresso machines. The Krups range of grinders includes blade grinders and two burr milling models, the GVX1 and the GVX2.

Both of these burr grinders have a 17 position selector to allow the user to control the fineness of the ground, and a quantity selector that ranges from two to 12 cups. This controls a feature that shuts off the grinder when the machine has produced the desired quantity. The remaining beans stay fresher longer, thanks to the airtight seal of the hopper.

Economical And Effective

One of the benefits of the burr milling system is that there is less risk of overheating the coffee as you grind it. The selectors let you pick just the right degree of coarseness for the job, and allow you to grind only as much coffee as you need at a time, avoiding mess and waste.

You place your beans in the transparent hopper, which shows a maximum filling line, and the grounds are delivered into the lidded container so you can transfer them to your coffee machine with less risk of spillage. Clean-up is a breeze, with the brush supplied for cleaning out the hopper and the removable burr to allow you to remove excess grounds when you are finished.

The Krups GVX1 is available in white and black, while the Krups GVX2 comes in white and metal and black and metal.
